Dear Friends, Family and Loved Ones,
We are all sad to learn of the loss of Denise. It was such an honor and a privilege to serve as an Indy Car observer with Denise. She was a great observer. She brought so much life and joy to the team through her spirit and communication with everyone and her encouragement to others as they encountered various challenges.
We lost a great observer but the world lost so much more. We lost someone with a great heart for helping others. May we all be blessed with some treasures as we remember and celebrate a life lived well. We are all keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. May God bless Denise and the friends and loved ones she’s left behind.

Denise was a lovely person and was our neighbor on Pasadena St. for several years. She loved to tend her flowers and she and John spent many hours making thier home there beautiful. She was also an avid solo driver and competed with me in the SCCA. She was a main stay of that group contributing many hours to make the sport strong in the Indy Region. For many years she and the Barth family provided me with a ticket to the 500 with breakfast served before-hand and time spent in the Barth suite at the track, for that I am very greatful. Her friendship and wonderful personality will be greatly missed. I am deeply sorry that she is gone and hope that the Barth family and John can cope with her loss and heal from her departure.
